The Past Two Friday's
So, last Friday, we were downtown for our evening stroll, and we ended up talking with Ukee Washington from CBS Philly. Great guy! We talked ended up conversing on what we are doing in life, and he took my card and said he may be able to get a hold of the office in Scranton (since it's closer) regarding our recovery. I said how it's so great on a Friday night, to be "down here" vs. where I used to be on a Friday night. How amazing it all is, and how amazing life is. Here's hoping, but if it's meant to be, it will happen. We shall see. Go, Ukee! He really was so upbeat, and very conversational. It was a great experience, regardless. One of the crew members came over, as well, to pet Bella. Talked about a bit with him about a few things, and he mentioned how his brother is so many years sober, as well. We chatted a bit, told him of a few events that I knew of upcoming in Jim Thorpe, and that was it. Was a nice interaction, all-around, with them. This Friday evening, after a bit of a draining day, we got to stroll around the lake area for a short while, and I'm working on the message for Sunday, where Bella and I will be giving our testimony. Look out, Lancaster... Bella's on her way! I'm so fortunate that she is including me in this. ;) She's tuckered. I am so very much loving this fall weather. I love lone trees and shrubs, and such. I love black and white photos. Most things in the world are not black and white, as so many of us make it out to be. I am looking forward to a fun few hours with some great people. When you know who you are, no one can really rattle you, even if you disagree. Some days it can be tougher, especially on a tougher mental day. But, overall, it's all good. This was taken in Presque Isle, Erie, PA, back in April. We were on our way back from speaking in Illinois. It was quite a ride. And still is. Friday nights these days, are so much better than they ever were. Thank You, Dear God. Enjoy. Feel free to contact me for prints or for use of the photo. Feel free to share.
