Some Random Thoughts to Close the Day:

- Tonight's sunset was gorgeous. So was last nights. As I stood there tonight, in such a beautiful and serene place, I thought to myself how much we miss out by comparing things instead of enjoying what we have right in front of us. I was thinking about the sunset last night and the one tonight, and how different they were. Some may say that this one was nothing compared to last night's... but then I think- well, it's a different night, and by thinking that way, it can totally take away from tonight's own beautiful scene and Presence. This so very much applies to life, itself. -Nothing like an awesome salmon and asparagus dinner made by such a great person. We ate it in like 5 minutes. Maybe I should say that we slurped it. 😉 Feels so great to eat so healthy. - Feels so great to take care of myself, and to be able to take care of Bella and others, too. There was a time when I didn't, and what's worse, is that I didn't care, that I didn't care. - Addiction and alcoholism is the devil. Anything that keeps us in some kind of bondage; trapped, whatever word you want to use, is the same. I'm so grateful to be free. Life is amazing on this side. - I still have some struggles, and probably always will, but it's how I handle them now, that is the difference. I don’t even know that I see them as struggles. It’s a beautiful thing. - I try to remain a student, and continue to learn. I love discovering new things, and that seems to happen on a daily basis- be it about Bella, myself, others, things around me, and God, and maybe how He speaks to me. - We can create our own limitations. Once you realize that, and catch yourself, you can put a stop to it and carry on, and keep the focus. How often do we have these thoughts that keep us stuck, and so often, we don't even realize it! - Bella had a good day- she's been perky, and seems to be doing so well. She's on her bed, soooo tired. This photo is from Brewster, MA, tonight. What a unique and crazy phenomenon, where the tide goes out for about a mile, and leaves behind these beautiful patterns and pools in the sand. Some consider it to be the largest tidal flat in North America. It's not recommended to walk out on them too far. What an amazing sight, to be out there at sunset. Feel free to contact me for prints or for use of the photo. Feel free to share. Enjoy
