Today... Tell Us Something Good

Today a friend and I were talking for a bit, and part of the discussion was about being positive. We talked about, instead of saying "Oh, I have to go to work" or, "I have to do [this or that]", say, "I GET to go and help..." "I GET to go make a difference. I realized that I used to talk that way so often (even some of my past blogs have those words in it), about what Bella & I GET to do. Or GOT to do. It's about it being a privilege to do these things in our given world.

Ask yourself- what happened today that was good? Tell us here in the comments- tell us something good that happened today. Or maybe something that you GOT to do. I bet you can think of AT LEAST ONE THING. That's it. One thing. I bet you can do it. I bet you'll even be able to come up with two things, if not more.

It can be so easy to get caught up in all the negativity in the world. I don't even really watch TV, and I don't miss it. I haven't been on here all that much, except for these kinds of things, and it's been so nice. And it's so nice to see the wonderful and positive things here, as well.

Yesterday, I had a meeting with our pastor, and I believe some good things came out of it. Or, the start of those things, anyway. He also gave me hope again, which I was losing. He prayed with me for joy, and so much more. He says the most beautiful prayers, and I believe it's a gift of his. That's God for you. Since that meeting, I really can't believe how my mind seems to have shifted, and I can tell you, it seemed to just happen. But know it didn't. That, is God for you.

That's one of my good things... one that I've noticed. One of many.

Bella is so tired. She seemed to have an ok day today. She walked a shorter walk this morning, we had a ton of running to do, she even went shopping for her treats at the doggie store. And we have you to thank for that. We walked on the trail as I enjoyed the beginning of that glorious sunset. She wanted to keep going because there were three doggies in front of us, with their guardian. I actually had her turn around because I knew we had to go back. She was still sounding a bit like a train, as far as her breathing, but this lower humidity seems to have made a difference. I'm looking forward to cooler temps and salty air to help her even further.

Thank You, God, for all you do. And thank You, for being You.

This was from a sunset on Cape Cod a bit back at Oyster Pond Landing. It was a beautiful evening, all-around.

Please contact me for prints or for use of the photo. Feel free to share. Enjoy!
