Hindsight can be a beautiful thing, but also difficult. It's bittersweet in that we see things after the fact, but sometimes, it's after damage has been done. I've experienced this many times in life, and continue to do so. Our eyes get opened with different experiences, and sometimes, we have a flood or a plateau of what we see in ourselves, in others, and even in the world around us.
It can downright suck, honestly.
But I do believe that sometimes, most times, that things need to happen in the exact order that they occurred, in order for us to continually be transformed.
Even though we may not understand it all, trusting in the process, is a part of the process.
Through sadness, gladness, hurt, tears, and laugher... we can learn, and we can also find light through it all.
Let the feelings flow. But also focus on gratitude. Focus on God, and that He has you in the Palm of His Hand, and has the others there, as well.
Even though things may seem to be falling apart, perhaps they are falling together, even if we don't like it at the moment.
And remember- none of us knows what the future truly holds. Things will come together. Relationships can be renewed and restored, and even be better than before. It can all work out to even a greater good, in a relationship, friendships, acquaintances, and in the world.
Hang tough, and know that you are loved.
I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I’m just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. -Philippians 4
But he’s already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It’s quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don’t take yourself too seriously— take God seriously. (No, O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.) -Micah 6:8
Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. -Isaiah 41:10
